On Tuesday, Twitter launched an advertising service. They now allowed for companies to tweet ads that would show up in the top search results. This new system has potential to really change how advertising is done on a social network. The article talks about how ads will pop up during a search for a tweet of a twitter. The best part of the whole system is that if no one favs the tweet or retweet it the ad will disappear. This feature forces companies to be creative with their tweet ads to allow users to engage in whatever their advertising.
I found this article instersting cause I've been waiting to see what twitter plan was to make money off their site. I know they didn't want to start charging. But they came up with a system almost related to facebook and google combine. Its not something that is entirely sure and stable at the moment but I think it has potential to work.
